This easy to install electric solenoid latch retraction kit is designed for easy installation on a Adams Rite 8800 series exit device. It features a reliable electric solenoid designed to pull in the push pad of the exit device automatically.
How It Works
This kit is designed to to be integrated with any access controller. The building's access controller will send a signal to the electric solenoid latch retraction kit, signaling it to pull in the exit device push pad, allowing the door to be unlocked and free swinging. Solenoid latch retraction kits are ideal for after hours or security door applications. This electric solenoid latch retraction kit can also be integrated with ADA automatic handicap door operators.

Electric Latch Retraction Kit Features
- 24VAC/DC or 12VAC/VDC
- 12V solenoid peak current is 900mA, while the 24V solenoid peak current is 450mA
- Can operate on 18 gauge wire lengths up to 300 feet from power source
- Compatible with rim, surface vertical rod, concealed vertical rod, and mortise exit devices.

A latch bolt monitor switch is a type of built in switch that sends a signal to the control panel to monitor the position of the exit device's latchbolt.
Power Supply Option
This option allows you to add a power supply to power the electrified exit device. Each power supply can run up to two electrified exit devices and feature two solid state input/outputs, and a fire alarm link. A battery back up power supply option is available.
Power Transfer Option
Electrified exit devices require power. This option includes a 4.5" x 4.5" electrified power transfer hinge designed to run power from the door frame, into the power transfer hinge, and to the exit device.
