Wall Type & Mounting (Exterior Wood Stud Wall with Veneer)

Designed for wood stud framing with exterior veneer such as brick, stone, stucco, or panel systems. Field assemble the frame, square and brace, then anchor to structural studs and header using structural wood screws or lag fasteners. Provide continuous backing at jambs and head and ensure the opening is plumb, level, and structurally sound.

• Field assemble frame - verify diagonal measurements before anchoring
• Anchor to studs/header with structural screws or lag bolts sized to stud species and sheathing thickness
• Install head sill flashing and integrate with WRB and veneer cladding
• Set and seal the bottom sill channel at the base for drainage and water protection
• Field glaze sidelite and transom glass using provided stops and gaskets
• Seal perimeter with commercial-grade backer rod and sealant to ensure envelope integrity
• Confirm latch alignment, smooth swing, and ADA approach clearances

Anchors for wood framing are not included - installer selects appropriate fasteners for stud layout and header design. Sidelite and transom glass ship separately in a protected crate for field glazing.
