Wall Type & Mounting (Exterior Steel Stud Wall with Veneer)

Designed for exterior steel stud framing with a veneer façade system (brick, stone, stucco, or architectural panels). Provide continuous backing at jambs and head, and coordinate waterproofing, WRB, and flashing with the façade system to maintain envelope integrity.

• Anchor into studs and structural backing using fasteners suited for steel framing (by installer)
• Shim at manufacturer-recommended locations to maintain plumb, level, and square alignment
• Seal perimeter using commercial-grade backer rod and silicone sealant
• Verify smooth swing and ADA clearances during installation

Anchoring fasteners for steel stud walls are not included, allowing installers to choose appropriate diameter, thread, and length for the project’s framing and veneer details.
