• ADA & IBC Alignment: Approach clearances, operable parts, egress width, and closer settings supported when paired with compliant hardware and field conditions.
• UL/cUL Documentation: Listings referenced in submittals for door, frame, and hardware as applicable.
• ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 Prep: Factory reinforcements for spec-grade locks, closers, hinges, and exit devices.

Panic Hardware & Lever Trim

• Panic bar (exit device): Interior free egress; device performance per ANSI/BHMA A156.3 and UL 305.
• Outside lever trim: Exterior operation via lever/key as specified; interior remains free egress.
• Fire-rated usage: For labeled openings, use an approved fire-rated device (no mechanical dogging).

Construction & Materials

• Size & Handing: 36" x 80" (3068), LH Reverse.
• Skins: 18-gauge galvannealed steel (A40/A60), prime gray finish for field paint.
• Core: Energy-efficient polystyrene (non-rated by default).
• Edges & Reinforcements: Interlocking seams; heavy backing plates at hinge, lock, closer, and device locations.

Masonry Block Frame & Installation

• Masonry block wall frame (KD or welded per submittal) prepared for proper anchors and strike/hinge locations.
• Clearances and reveals targeted for first-time fit and smooth inspection.
• For exterior conditions, select weatherstrip and threshold systems to meet performance and ADA transitions.
