This easy to install latch retraction kit is designed for easy installation on an Adams Rite 8200 exit device. It features a reliable dc motor designed to pull in the push pad of the exit device automatically.
How It Works
This kit is designed to to be integrated with any access controller. The building's access controller will send a signal to the motor latch retraction kit, signaling it to pull in the exit device push pad, allowing the door to be unlocked and free swinging. Motor latch retraction kits are ideal for after hours or security door applications. This motor latch retraction kit can also be integrated with ADA automatic handicap door operators.

Motor Latch Retraction Kit Features
- 22-28 VDC with power protection if 28VDC is exceeded
- Standard operation will have an average peak current: 1.3A with an average hold current of 170mA,
- High torque operation will have an average peak current of 2A and an average hold current of 250mA
- Can operate on 18 gauge wire lengths up to 300 feet from power source
- Compatible with rim, surface vertical rod, concealed vertical rod, and mortise exit devices.

Latchbolt Monitor Switch Option
A latch bolt monitor switch is a type of built in switch that sends a signal to the control panel to monitor the position of the exit device's latchbolt.
Power Supply Option
This option allows you to add a power supply to power the electrified exit device. Each power supply can run up to two electrified exit devices and feature two solid state input/outputs, and a fire alarm link. A battery back up power supply option is available.
Power Transfer Option
Electrified exit devices require power. This option includes a armored door loop, allowing you to run wire from the panic bar to your door frame.
Electrified Hinge Option
This option includes a 4.5" x 4" electrified power transfer hinge designed to run power from the storefront door to the storefront door frame. Used on storefront doors with 4.5 in. x 4 in. Butt Hinges.
