• ADA-compatible hardware options (lever/trim choices, closer compatibility, accessibility requirements)
• ANSI/BHMA-grade hardware compatibility (lock preps, hinge preps, closer reinforcement locations)
• Steel Door Institute (SDI) standards alignment for commercial construction expectations
• UL-listed / Intertek (WHI) labeling when the opening requires a fire rating (door + frame + glazing)
• Correct steel gauge for the application (common commercial: 18 ga door / 16 ga frame; heavier where required)
