1. Scope
Furnish and install one complete Entrance-Lite™ value engineered commercial aluminum storefront entrance system consisting of an aluminum entrance door, knock down frame, 3/16" tempered clear glass, glazing stops, threshold, and associated hardware as specified herein.
2. General Description
The Entrance-Lite™ storefront entrance system is a value engineered import commercial entrance package designed for budget-conscious commercial applications. System shall ship in knock down form for field assembly and glazing. Glass shall be included and shipped separately as required for safe transport and jobsite handling.
3. Materials
- Door and Frame Material: 6063 architectural aluminum
- Finish: Clear anodized
- Glazing: 3/16" tempered clear glass
- Glazing Stops: Sized for 3/16" glass
- Threshold: Commercial aluminum threshold furnished
4. Door and Frame Construction
- Door size shall be 36" x 84"
- Frame size shall be 39-1/2" x 85-3/4"
- Frame shall be provided in knock down configuration for field assembly
- Door and frame shall be fabricated for commercial storefront applications
- System shall be prepared for field installation of supplied hardware and glass
5. Glass
- Glass shall be 3/16" tempered clear safety glass
- Glass shall be included with the entrance system
- Glass shall ship separately when required to reduce damage risk during transit
- Field glazing shall be required by installer
6. Hardware
Entrance system shall include commercial hardware package consisting of the following:
- Commercial push / pull hardware
- Locking hardware package
- Threshold
Hardware components furnished with the system shall be commercial grade and suitable for standard storefront entrance applications.
7. Field Assembly and Installation
- System shall ship disassembled in knock down form
- Field assembly shall be required
- Field glazing shall be required
- Installer shall verify all opening dimensions and jobsite conditions prior to installation
- Installer shall be responsible for proper anchoring, assembly, alignment, and glazing in accordance with accepted commercial storefront installation practices
8. Applications
Suitable for retail storefronts, office buildings, tenant improvement projects, service entrances, and other standard commercial applications where a cost effective aluminum storefront entrance system is required.

10. Delivery and Handling
- System shall be shipped in knock down configuration
- Glass shall be protected for transit and may ship separately
- Materials shall be stored in a clean, dry location and protected from damage prior to installation

- Verify handing before ordering
- Verify frame size and rough opening before fabrication and installation
- Verify compatibility with wall condition and surrounding construction
- Assembly and glazing are required at jobsite
