StorefrontFix™ Architectural Push Bars and Pull Handles Specifications

Furnish and install StorefrontFix™ architectural push bars and pull handles as supplied by Door Closers USA, for use on commercial storefront doors and other compatible commercial door applications. Hardware shall be manufactured from 1" diameter solid round aluminum extrusion, precision formed and machined for commercial duty performance.

Material and Construction

• 1" diameter solid round aluminum extrusion
• Precision formed and machined for commercial applications
• Designed for use in high traffic storefront and entrance door environments
• Suitable for aluminum storefront doors, hollow metal doors, and commercial wood doors where applicable

Finish Requirements

• Provide high performance architectural Class 1 anodized finishes for abusive use and UV protection
• Finish performance shall meet or exceed AAMA 611-98 specifications
• Finishes shall be appropriate for interior and exterior commercial door applications

Offset Pull Handles

• 3-1/4" offset
• 2-1/4" projection
• 2-1/4" door clearance

Straight Pull Handles

• 3" projection
• 2" door clearance

Push Bars

• 2-1/4" projection

Push/Pull Set Configuration

• Push bars may be ordered with pull handles as a complete Push/Pull Set
• Push/Pull Set shall be mounted Back-to-Back at the meeting stile
• Push/Pull Set shall be Thru-Bolted at the free ends for secure attachment

Mounting Hardware

• Provide mounting hardware with each unit
• Heavy duty 3/8"-24 hardware shall be supplied
• No light duty 1/4"-20 mounting hardware shall be used
• Hardware shall be suitable for commercial duty installation and long-term service

General Requirements

• Provide manufacturer’s standard fasteners and installation hardware unless otherwise noted
• Install in accordance with manufacturer’s published installation instructions
• Coordinate handle and push bar size, configuration, and finish with door type and field conditions prior to fabrication and installation
