The installation begins with assembling the frame components, including the strike jamb,pivot jamb, and frame head. All required brackets and hardware are included and prepped,making assembly straightforward.
Once assembled, the frame is positioned into the rough opening.For a 36 in x 84 in door package, the total frame width measures 39-1/2 in,requiring a 40 in rough opening. The total frame height measures approximately 85-3/4 in,requiring an 86 in rough opening.
Mounting holes are drilled through the frame face and secured into the wall structure.Anchor selection depends on wall type, such as wood studs, masonry, or CMU.The frame is shimmed as needed to ensure it is plumb, level, and square.
