GapFix Water Control Door Seal Kit for 72" Double Door Opening with 3/4" Under Door Gap

The GapFix Water Control Door Seal Kit helps reduce water intrusion at commercial door openings exposed to heavy rain and weather. This kit is designed for entrances that are sloped properly and need an improved seal to help deter water from coming under the door.

This kit is not waterproof. If your entrance was built with an improper slope or water pools directly in front of the opening, water infiltration may still occur. This kit is designed to improve sealing performance on entrances where drainage conditions are already correct.

Designed for 72" Wide Double Door Opening with 3/4" Gap Beneath Door

This kit is designed for commercial openings using a 2 each 36" wide doors that have approximately a 3/4" gap between the bottom of the door and finished floor.

The included 1" tall bumper seal threshold helps close this gap and allows for approximately a 1/4" compression seal across the bottom of the door when used with the included bottom door sweep. This helps improve sealing performance and assists in reducing water intrusion at properly sloped entrances.

Kit Includes

• Overhead Rain Deflector - sized for 72" door openings and projects approximately 2-1/2" from the face of the door frame to help deflect rain away from the opening
• 1" Tall Bumper Seal Thresholds (72" length) - creates a raised sealing surface at the bottom of the doorway
• Bottom Door Sweep with Vinyl Insert and Rain Cap (36" length per sweep) - helps direct water away from the threshold while improving the seal beneath the doors

When used together on a properly sloped entrance, this kit helps reduce water penetration and assists in keeping your entryway drier during rain conditions.

ADA Compliance Notice

The included 1" tall bumper seal threshold does not meet ADA compliance requirements, which typically limit threshold height to 1/2" maximum.

Because of the increased height of the bumper seal, always consult your local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to confirm whether ADA compliant hardware is required for your specific entrance.
