The ProGrade Architectural™ UR-407 Series Door Bottom Shoe with Rain Drip is a heavy duty commercial-grade sealing solution designed to protect against water intrusion while sealing the gap between the bottom of the door and the threshold. This model is supplied in a 36" length and is engineered specifically for 1-3/4" thick commercial wood and metal doors.
Featuring an integrated extruded aluminum rain drip, the UR-407 helps deflect rain away from the door opening, reducing the risk of water penetration at the threshold. Combined with a high-performance vinyl insert, this door bottom creates a tight, continuous seal against drafts, moisture, pests, and debris.
Unlike standard door bottom shoes, the UR-407 Series includes a built-in rain drip that directs water away from the door face and threshold. This makes it an ideal solution for exterior commercial doors exposed to rain, wind-driven moisture, and harsh weather conditions.
The reinforced aluminum holder ensures long-term durability in high traffic environments, while the tight-fit vinyl insert prevents slipping, tearing, or pull-out over time—common issues with light-duty residential products.
