Steel-Lite™ Exterior Hollow Metal Door - LHR, Retrofit for Brick Wall

Purpose-built for existing brick wall openings, this Steel-Lite™ exterior door package pairs a Left Hand Reverse (LHR) hollow metal door with a KD punch & dimple retrofit frame and brick-compatible expansion/wedge anchors. Optimized for the typical retrofit rough opening (RO) 40-1/2" wide × 86-1/4" tall and the corresponding outside frame size of ~40" × 86". USA-made with dependable 3–4 week production.

Application-First Details

Wall Type: Existing brick masonry openings (retrofit).
Frame: KD punch & dimple retrofit masonry frame; ships knock-down for easier handling and in-place assembly.
Anchoring: Supplied with expansion/wedge anchors sized for solid brick.
Note: Use appropriate anchors when installing into brick veneer over stud.
Perimeter Sealing: Ready for backer rod & sealant and exterior weatherstripping/threshold kits (recommended for exposure).
Handing:Left Hand Reverse (LHR)—confirm swing direction onsite.

Door Construction

Skins: 18-gauge galvannealed steel (A40/A60), prime painted for field finish.
Core:Polystyrene insulated for thermal performance (non-rated by default).
Edges & Reinforcements: Interlocked seams with reinforcement at hinges, lock/exit, and closer.
