DC USA Approved PD16-CVR Concealed Vertical Rod Exit Device (Jackson 1285 and Kawneer 1686 Replica)
The PD15/16 is a complete retrofit storefront exit device series for the Kawneer 1686/1786 & Jackson 1285/1295.It's made for use in all institutions and commercial buildings storefront applications. Install this device with the confidence of knowing that the PD15/16 series meets or exceeds the high standards of other grade 1 products. In retrofit situations you can utilize the existing hardware (i.e vertical rods) with no additional prep required.
Hardware: Handing- Please Specify Handing for CVR Units.
Pushbar Length- Standard sizes: dimensioned for 36" and 48" openings. Standard width bars can be field cut to the next smallest opening width.
- 48" & 36" - Cutdown all the way to the pushpad
Door Thickness Projection - 2-5/8" when fully projected, 1-5/8"when dogged.
Stile Width - Minimum 2" Stile. Fits narrow, medium, and wide stile aluminum doors.
Dogging - Standard dogging with hex key or cylinder dogging option. Electric dogging also available.
Fasteners- Standard self-tapping screws
Vertical Rods - Top and bottom steel rods for easy adjustment
- Standard device is adjustable for nominal door heights
