The Phoenix Architectural Hardware Titan 44 Series – Model 44E0-3 Double Door Kit is designed specifically for commercial double door (active/inactive) applications. This package provides a 44E0-3 Grade 1 rim exit device for the active leaf and a double door (overlapping) strike that mounts to the inactive leaf, creating a complete egress and latching solution for paired hollow metal or wood doors.
The active door is equipped with the 44E0-3 rim exit device, which includes an outside keyed entrance function lever with a Schlage C keyway. The inactive door receives the included double door strike, allowing the rim panic latch to securely engage across the pair. This configuration is ideal for storefronts, offices, schools, and commercial entrances where one leaf operates as the primary traffic door.
The device features a stainless steel 5/8" throw latch with deadlatch, a 2-3/4" backset, and requires a minimum 4-1/2" stile. Since this model is non-fire-rated, Allen key dogging is included for hold-open convenience. The rail is field-cuttable to fit door widths between 28" and 36".
