The Phoenix Architectural Hardware Titan 44 Series Double Door Kit – Model 44E0-4 is a premium Grade 1 panic hardware package designed for commercial double door (active/inactive) installations. This setup includes a wide-door 44E0-4 rim exit device for the active leaf and a double door overlapping strike for the inactive leaf, creating a complete and code-compliant latching solution for paired hollow metal or wood doors.
This version includes a rugged keyed entrance lever featuring a Schlage C keyway for secure exterior access control. The rim panic mounts to the active door while the double door strike attaches to the inactive door, ensuring a clean and reliable latch engagement across the pair.
Engineered for wider commercial openings, the Titan 44 Series 44E0-4 fits medium stile doors from 40" to 48". It features a 4-1/2" minimum stile, a durable 5/8" stainless steel throw latch with deadlatch, and a 2-3/4" backset. Since this is a non-fire-rated model, Allen key dogging is included, allowing the device to remain unlatched during business hours.
