Wall Type & Mounting (Wood Stud Wall with Veneer)

Designed for exterior wood stud framing with veneer façades (brick, stone, stucco, or panel). Provide continuous structural backing at jambs and head (e.g., doubled king/jack studs and header). Coordinate flashing and weather-resistive barrier with the façade system.

• Anchor into studs/header with structural wood fasteners per engineer/manufacturer (by installer)
• Shim at recommended points to maintain plumb, level, and square
• Integrate sill pan or threshold flashing; seal perimeter with backer rod and sealant
• Verify smooth swing, clear threshold, and ADA approach clearances

Anchoring fasteners into wood studs (e.g., structural screws/lag bolts) are not included, allowing installers to select the correct type, length, and thread to match stud species, sheathing thickness, and header design.
