Wall Type & Mounting (Steel Stud Wall with Veneer)

Designed for exterior steel stud framing with a veneer façade (brick, stone, stucco, or panel). Provide continuous structural backing at jambs and head; coordinate WRB, flashing, and sealants with the façade system and threshold details.

• Anchor into studs/headers with engineered fasteners suited to stud gauge (by installer)
• Shim at manufacturer-recommended points to maintain plumb, level, and square
• Seal perimeter using commercial-grade backer rod and sealant
• Verify smooth swing and ADA approach clearances

Anchoring fasteners into steel studs are not included, allowing installers to select the correct type, length, and thread for the project’s framing and header design.
