Wall Type & Mounting (Exterior Wood Stud Wall with Veneer)

Designed for exterior wood stud framing with veneer cladding systems such as brick, stone, or stucco. Provide adequate structural backing (e.g., doubled king/jack studs and engineered header). Coordinate weather-resistant barrier (WRB), flashing, and sealants with the façade system for a watertight installation.

• Anchor into studs and header using structural wood screws or lag bolts (by installer)
• Shim to maintain plumb, level, and square alignment during fastening
• Seal perimeter joints with commercial-grade backer rod and sealant
• Verify ADA-compliant swing clearance and threshold transitions

Anchoring fasteners for wood stud walls are not included, allowing installers to select the appropriate length, diameter, and type for the project’s stud and sheathing thickness.
