Wall Type & Mounting (Exterior Pre-Cast Concrete Wall)

Designed for exterior pre-cast concrete wall panels. Coordinate opening size and embed plate/insert locations with the pre-cast fabricator. Account for panel tolerances, reveals, and joint sealant locations. Integrate pan/threshold seal, flashing, and perimeter sealants with the building envelope.

• Anchor frame to pre-cast using appropriate sleeve anchors, wedge/expansion anchors, or embedded plates/inserts (by installer)
• Use non-shrink grout or approved shims at bearing points to achieve plumb, level, and square
• Provide thermal break and compatible sealants where frame interfaces with exterior concrete surfaces
• Seal perimeter with commercial-grade backer rod and sealant compatible with pre-cast concrete and finishes
• Verify smooth swing on both leaves, deadlock engagement on the active door, and flush bolt engagement at header/threshold on the inactive door

Anchoring fasteners are not included, allowing the installer to select diameter and length appropriate to the pre-cast substrate and site conditions.
