Wall Type & Mounting (Exterior Brick / Masonry Wall)

Designed for exterior brick (masonry) wall openings. Coordinate the rough opening with lintel/support steel as required. Integrate flashing, pan/threshold seal, and sealants with the water-resistive barrier and masonry veneer details.

• Anchor frame to masonry using appropriate masonry anchors or screws with shields (by installer)
• Shim at manufacturer-recommended points to maintain plumb, level, and square
• Seal perimeter with commercial-grade backer rod and sealant
• Verify smooth swing on both leaves, latch/bolt engagement at header/threshold, and ADA approach clearances

Masonry anchoring fasteners are not included, allowing the installer to select diameter and length appropriate to the substrate and site conditions.
