Mounting Method

Back-to-Back Mounting at Meeting Stile

The meeting stile connection is the point where the exterior pull handle aligns with the interior push bar. StorefrontFix™ combination sets include back-to-back mounting hardware at the common connection point to ensure proper alignment and secure attachment of both components through the door stile.

Thru-Bolt Mounting at Free Ends

The free ends of both the pull handle and push bar are mounted using heavy duty thru-bolt fasteners. Thru-bolt mounting provides a strong mechanical connection through the door stile and is standard practice for commercial storefront hardware installations.

Finished thru-bolt heads are visible on the opposite side of the door stile, providing both structural strength and a professional architectural appearance.
