Entry Systems DS102 Brush Door Sweep Installation Instructions

CUTTING BRUSH:
1. Remove brush prior to cutting.
2. Trim off excess brush using Lineman Side Cutting Pliers and crimp the brushfilament ends.
3. Re-insert the brush until it is flush with one end of the retainer and crimp to holdin place.
DOOR BOTTOMS:
1. Measure, mark and trim door bottom sweep to full width of door.Important note: when trimming, pull out section of brush seal to be trimmedand use Lineman Side Cutting Pliers to pinch end of seal. This will retain the brush.Trim will retain the brush. Trim aluminum (or oak) retainer with a hacksaw.
2. Close door and position door bottom sweep along outside bottom edge of doorso that it makes firm contact with threshold. Mark door in center of slotted holes.
3. Drill pilot holes in door at marks.
4. Secure door bottom sweep to door with supplied screws. Adjust to ensure firmcontact with threshold.
