The Glass Pro Hardware FGD200 Series Concealed Door Closer
is designed for center hung Herculite frameless glass door applications requiring smooth hydraulic control, reliable centering, and durable leak-resistant performance. This model features heavy spring power, a 105 degree full open back stop, no hold open function, and a 3/4" extended spindle for improved door support.
Frameless Glass Door Concealed Closer Design
The Glass Pro Hardware FGD200 Series is engineered for dependable hydraulic performance under demanding commercial door conditions. The concealed closer body includes upgraded sealing technology throughout the closer to help reduce oil leakage and extend service life.
- Steel spring cap located on top of the closer body
- High performance O-ring and epoxy sealed threads for double protection
- Automotive-style heavy duty spindle seal replacing older standard O-ring technology
- Two adjustment valves with dual high performance O-rings
- Steel end caps with high performance O-rings and epoxy sealed threads
- Adjustable back check after 80 degrees to help prevent the door from slamming open
Application
- For center hung frameless glass doors
- Suitable for double acting or single acting door applications
- Door stop applied to frame renders the unit single acting
- Designed for concealed installation in aluminum header or transom bar applications
- Cast iron closer body fits aluminum headers or transom bars as small as 1-3/4" x 4"
