The Jackson 1295 Rim Panic Exit Device is engineered for dependable commercial egress, combining the reliability of the time-proven crossbar design with the clean, modern look of a push-pad exit device. Part of the Jackson 1200 Series, this unit is ideal for a wide range of commercial door applications requiring smooth, consistent performance and code-compliant operation.

Designed for use with 1-3/4" thick narrow, medium, and wide stile aluminum doors, wood doors, and hollow metal doors, the Jackson 1295 can be installed on single doors or paired doors when used with an optional removable mullion. The device is non-handed and can be easily trimmed in the field for proper fitment.

Performance & Operation

The 1200 Series soft-touch push pad requires minimal pressure anywhere along the bar to instantly release the latch, ensuring fast and reliable egress in emergency situations. The streamlined design provides a low projection while maintaining durability and ease of use for high-traffic commercial environments.

This device includes a standard hex key dogging system for holding the door in an unlocked position during high traffic periods. Optional keyed cylinder dogging is also available for additional security control.
