The Phoenix Door Controls 416 is a heavy-duty, ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 surface mount door closer configured with a spring cushion hold-open arm for controlled opening and convenient, manual hold-open. This model is designed for parallel arm (push-side) mount only, delivering a low-profile installation that stands up to high-traffic commercial use. How the Spring Cushion Hold-Open Works
Spring cushion reduces shock as the door approaches full open, helping protect hinges, frames, and walls.
Manual hold-open lets you set the door to stay open at an adjustable angle (project dependent) during busy periods.
Disengage by gently pulling the door past the set point and allowing it to close under controlled speed.
