The Phoenix Architectural Hardware Titan 44 Series Double Door Kit – Model 44E0-3 provides a complete exit device solution for commercial double door (active/inactive) configurations. This kit includes a Grade 1 44E0-3 rim exit device for the active door and a double door overlapping strike for the inactive door, delivering a secure and code-compliant latching system across the pair.
This version features a heavy duty escutcheon entrance lever with a Schlage C keyway, allowing durable, high-security keyed entry from the exterior. The rim exit device mounts on the active door leaf, while the included double door strike installs on the inactive door, enabling the rim latch to engage smoothly when the active leaf closes.
The Titan 44 Series incorporates a 5/8" stainless steel throw latch with deadlatch, a 2-3/4" backset, and requires a 4-1/2" minimum stile. The rail is field-cuttable for 28" to 36" wide doors. As a non-fire-rated model, Allen key dogging is included to permit hold-open operation during business hours.
