The Phoenix Architectural Hardware Titan 44 Series Double Door Kit – Model 44E0-3 provides a complete panic hardware solution for commercial double door (active/inactive) configurations. This package includes a Grade 1 44E0-3 rim exit device for the active door along with a double door overlapping strike for the inactive door, forming a coordinated and secure latching system across the pair.
Designed for medium stile hollow metal or wood doors, the Titan 44 Series delivers reliable egress performance in high-traffic commercial environments such as schools, retail stores, offices, and public buildings. The included double door strike installs on the inactive leaf, allowing the rim latch on the active door to engage properly for a clean and effective double-door setup.
The 44E0-3 features a 4-1/2" minimum stile requirement, a durable 5/8" stainless steel throw latch with deadlatch feature, and a 2-3/4" backset. The rail is field cuttable to fit door widths from 28" to 36". Since this model is non-fire-rated, Allen key dogging is included to allow the device to remain unlatched for push-pull operation during business hours.
