The Phoenix Architectural Hardware Titan 44 Series Double Door Kit – Model 44E0-3 provides a complete exit device package for commercial double door (active/inactive) configurations. This kit includes a Grade 1 44E0-3 rim exit device for the active door along with a double door overlapping strike for the inactive door, ensuring proper latching and code-compliant egress across the door pair.
This version comes equipped with an exterior Schlage C keyway rim cylinder, allowing secure, key-controlled entry from the outside while maintaining free egress from the inside. The rim exit device mounts on the active door, and the included double door strike installs on the inactive leaf, providing a clean and reliable active-to-inactive latching interface.
The Titan 44 Series features a 4-1/2" minimum stile requirement and a durable 5/8" stainless steel throw latch with deadlatch feature. The device uses a 2-3/4" backset and the rail is field cuttable to fit door widths between 28" and 36". Since this is a non-fire-rated model, Allen key dogging is included to allow hold-open functionality during business hours.
