The Phoenix Architectural Hardware Titan 44 Series Double Door Kit – Model 44E0-4 provides a complete Grade 1 panic hardware package engineered for commercial double door (active/inactive) configurations. This kit includes a wide-door 44E0-4 rim exit device for the active door along with a double door overlapping strike for the inactive door, delivering a secure and code-compliant latching system across paired hollow metal or wood doors.
This version features a rugged heavy duty escutcheon entrance lever equipped with a Schlage C keyway, offering long-lasting durability and secure keyed exterior access. The rim device mounts to the active leaf, and the double door strike attaches to the inactive leaf, ensuring proper latch engagement when the active door closes.
Designed for wider commercial openings, the Titan 44 Series 44E0-4 fits medium stile doors measuring 40" to 48". It requires a 4-1/2" minimum stile and includes a 5/8" stainless steel throw latch with deadlatch and a 2-3/4" backset. As a non-fire-rated model, the unit includes Allen key dogging to hold the push bar in the unlatched position during business hours.
