The Phoenix Architectural Hardware Titan 44 Series Double Door Kit – Model 44E0-4 provides a complete Grade 1 panic hardware solution for commercial double door (active/inactive) configurations. This package includes a heavy-duty 44E0-4 rim exit device for the active door and a double door overlapping strike for the inactive door, ensuring proper latch engagement and smooth operation across wider commercial door pairs.
This version includes an exterior Schlage C keyway rim cylinder for secure key-controlled access from the outside. The rim panic installs on the active leaf, while the double door strike mounts to the inactive leaf, creating a reliable active-to-inactive latching interface.
Designed for 40" to 48" medium stile hollow metal or wood doors, the Titan 44 Series 44E0-4 is built for demanding environments such as schools, offices, storefronts, and industrial facilities. It requires a 4-1/2" minimum stile, features a durable 5/8" stainless steel throw latch with deadlatch, and uses a standard 2-3/4" backset. As a non-fire-rated model, Allen key dogging is included to hold the bar in the unlatched position for push/pull operation during business hours.
