The Phoenix Architectural Hardware Titan 44 Series Fire Rated Double Door Kit – Model 44E0-FR-3 delivers a complete life-safety egress solution for commercial fire-rated double door (active/inactive) assemblies. This kit includes a 44E0-FR-3 fire-rated rim exit device for the active leaf and a UL fire-rated double door overlapping strike for the inactive leaf, ensuring full latch engagement and proper fire separation across the door pair.
Equipped with a Schlage C keyway rim cylinder for secure exterior access, this configuration provides key control on the outside while maintaining free egress from the inside. Because this is a fire-rated model, it contains no dogging feature, guaranteeing the latch remains fully engaged at all times to preserve the integrity of the fire door.
Designed for 28" to 36" medium stile hollow metal or wood fire doors, the device features a rugged 5/8" stainless steel throw latch with deadlatch, a standard 2-3/4" backset, and requires a 4-1/2" minimum stile. Its universal non-handed design allows field reversibility, making it adaptable for a wide range of commercial egress applications.
