This model features a durable outside pull handle paired with a Schlage C keyway lock cylinder for secure, code-compliant exterior access while ensuring free and unobstructed egress from the interior.

As a fire-rated device, the 44E0-FR-3 includes no dogging function in order to maintain mandatory latch engagement at all times. The unit incorporates a 5/8" stainless steel throw latch with deadlatch, a standard 2-3/4" backset, and requires a 4-1/2" minimum stile for proper mounting. Its non-handed, field-reversible design allows universal installation on both right and left hand doors.
