This model is Grade 1 certified under ANSI/BHMA A156.4 and UL Listed for UL10C positive pressure fire-rated applications. While not ADA barrier-free due to its higher spring tension, the R7483 ensures consistent, controlled door closing and long-term reliability under heavy use.

The tri-pack mounting system allows for regular, top jamb, or parallel arm installation.
